This 3 hour comprehensive and fun class for all abilities. A minimum of 6 and no more than 12 potters per class. A great introduction to the world of pottery techniques. The class will cover wheel throwing, hand building including slabbing, coiling, and pinching & glazing.

You will have the studio to yourselves for 2 hours allowing for tailored guidance based on your skill levels and interests.Those sharing the experience will have great fun during the session with plenty of hands on time.

A 2 hour beginner's throwing class where you will learn to create pottery pieces using the potters wheel.

In this class, I will guide you through the process of shaping and molding clay on the wheel, transforming a ball of clay into functional or decorative items like bowls, cups, plates, or vases. You'll learn various techniques such as centering the clay, pulling up the walls and shaping.

Pottery wheel throwing can be a meditative and creative activity, perfect for both beginners and those with some experience. 

This course is designed to teach you the beginnings of how to throw on the potters wheel alongside trimming and glazing your pieces.

You will be guided to develop your skills over a 4 or 6 week period with close tuition from myself. This course is built for 1 to 1 tuition for 2 hours a week to help you achieve successful results.

From clay preparation, centering, pulling the walls, trimming, handling and finishing you will come away with a great understanding of clay and how it behaves on the wheel. 

Build a Pot party is a 3 hour hands on, immersive creative class for up to 12 party goers. You will have the chance to craft your very own pottery from scratch.

Unlike a painting party where pre-made ceramics are decorated, this event focusses on the process of shaping and molding clay into functional or decorative pieces. You will also glaze your masterpieces for finish.

Price includes all materials and equipment, kiln firings and tuition, plus a refreshment on arrival.

A lively and creative 2 hour party, for up to 12 guests, suitable for both children and adults, where you can relax and express yourself through the art of painting.

A pre-made pottery piece is included as well as refreshments. This package is a fun way to bring your tribe together and is perfect for any celebration, from birthdays to hen dos, or just a casual get together.
