INTERMEDIATE 1:1 WHEEL THROWING COURSE

INTERMEDIATE 1:1 WHEEL THROWING COURSE: 4 or 6 weeks.

This intermediate 1-2-1 wheel throwing course is designed for potters who already have a solid foundation and want to refine their skills through personalised tuition. Working one-on-one allows the course to be fully tailored to your experience level, goals, and creative interests.

Over 4 or 6 weeks, the sessions focus on improving consistency, control, and efficiency at the wheel while developing more complex forms. You may explore refining centring and pulling techniques, throwing larger or thinner pieces, working with altered forms, lids, handles, and spouts, or improving trimming and finishing skills. Guidance can also be given on surface decoration, glazing, and problem-solving common technical challenges.

With individual feedback and demonstrations throughout, this course offers the opportunity to deepen your understanding of clay, build confidence, and push your practice forward at your own pace.

Ideal for those looking to progress technically, develop a more personal style, or prepare for more advanced work.
